How 3Z Incursion Works

Dual-sword VR rhythm combat on a moving subway car. Slice enemies to the beat of your own music, dodge the environment, and survive long enough to break a serious sweat.

Mode 1

Standard Mode

Load a single song or build a playlist and dive into a 30‑minute music‑driven run. Enemies spawn continuously at your chosen difficulty level for the duration of your session. Play the music you want — one track or an entire playlist.

Spawns are timed to the beat and rhythm of whatever song is playing. The game reads your music, not a preset pattern.

Lives mode is toggleable. With lives on, enemies that reach you or get past you cost a life — run out and your session ends. Turn lives off for a pure rhythm experience with no penalty.

Consecutive perfect hits build a streak bonus that increases your score the longer you maintain precision. Accuracy is tracked throughout your session.

Mode 2

HIIT Mode

Set your high interval duration and your low interval duration. The game cycles between your chosen difficulty (high) and Beginner (low) automatically for the length of your playlist.

No tracking, no adaptation — just the interval timer you set. Good for people who know what they want and don’t need the system managing their progression.

The full structured workout experience. Sessions have a defined duration (e.g. 15 minutes) and follow a three-phase structure. Your accuracy is logged after every session.

Maintain above a set accuracy threshold across enough sessions and the system automatically adjusts — either increasing your high difficulty level or extending your high intervals. You earn harder workouts.

Beginner difficulty

Brings you back down

The tracked HIIT system monitors your slash accuracy percentage across cycles & sessions over time. When you consistently hit above the accuracy threshold for the required number of sessions, it automatically advances your workout — either stepping up your high difficulty level or increasing the duration of your high intervals. You don’t have to think about progression. The game does it for you.

Music

Play your way

Jump in instantly with a curated set of tracks or load audio files directly from your Meta Quest device storage. Mix and match freely. No streaming, no subscription, no preset track list required.

String songs together — built-in or your own — into playlists for longer sessions. Great for HIIT workouts where you want a full 20–30-minute set without interruption.

Enemy spawns follow the tempo, rhythm, and energy of whatever track is playing. Every song plays differently because the game reacts to the music in real time.

Environment

The subway car

You’re on top of a moving subway car tearing through a tunnel. Enemies aren’t the only threat — the environment will get you too if you’re not paying attention.
